Description
Include a part of maritime history from the 1920's to your collection with this underwater photo of one of only a handful of cement ship decks ever constructed. Notice the rebar protruding from the cement. This is from the SS Sapona which ran aground and was shipwrecked in 1926.
It is also rumored that many years prior to George H. W. Bush became President of the United States of America, he and his squadron performed bombing drills on this target.
The Sapona is located south of Bimini in the Bahamas photographed in approximately 15-20 feet of water.
Our above-water photograph of the Sapona is the perfect companion to this image.
